Women Soul Trekking

2018 retreat and overnights

Women Soul Trekking will be offering two retreats this summer focussed on Surrendering into Her embrace: Saying yes to Divine Mother overflowing through us.

June 4-7 and August 27-30

Dearest sisters, I just completed Awakening Women’s week long deepening leadership retreat. A fire of devotion and awakening is consuming and forging each of us in this ancient circle of women. From this place of love and commitment, She is leading us to trust and surrender into Her embrace. Her desire to overflow through each of us as Her image is palpable. It is from this place that I say yes and share these offerings.

We will be staying at Yukon Island Lodge, a magical and pristine wilderness area across the bay from Homer, Alaska. If you want to come earlier or stay later, I can customize additional offerings for you to extend your stay in Homer Alaska.

During our stay on Yukon island (http://yukonisland.com), we will be hosted by a lovely woman named Gretchen whose family originally homesteaded the island. Yukon Island is seven miles by water taxi from Homer. There is a minimum of 8 required and we will then receive the whole lodge to ourselves. The cost to stay at the lodge is $155 per person per night, which includes three homemade meals and fresh linens on Yukon island. We will be staying three nights. We will have a wonderful sauna to take turns bathing in Alaska style. We will also have space to hold circle and solitude to tune in as Yukon Island is a magical and gorgeous place.

Each day will start with a morning mediation. We will then share a guided journey within the wilderness park hiking and/or kayaking. Fitness levels and interest will determines which hikes we take within the magical Kachemak Bay wilderness Park. There are several amazing hikes to choose from. We will share one of the days kayaking around Yukon Island. The weekend of June 4-7 has exceptionally low tides, so we will enjoy exploring the tide pools. I will serve as your guide for the hiking and kayaking journeys as well as all other morning and evening group facilitation; I will create and hold the space with the intention of delving deep together in these magical and beloved places. Evenings will include saunas, campfires, circle and women’s temple embodiment practices.

In addition to the cost of the lodge, $350 will cover all other expenses. This includes water taxi charges from local companies to take us to and from the lodge and another to take us to and from a trail head one of the days for hiking. It will also include kayak rentals, guidance and instruction. Finally, it will include all guided hiking and fees within the Wilderness Park.
We will have the opportunity to spend time together and practice in one of the most amazing places in nature. I am so excited to share these places, what a genuine gift.  For those choosing to participate in this journey, we would meet and stay in Homer the night before the retreat and then go across Kachemak Bay on June 4th or August 27th. I can offer suggestions for accommodations here in Homer. There are many other offerings to share with you if you choose to extend your stay.

Cost of retreat is $465. to be paid directly to Yukon Island lodge for lodging and meals and $350. to Women Soul Trekking for all other expenses.

As we hike and meditate, with each step we can connect to our capacity to receive, to heal, to be, and to blossom. As the mind becomes quiet, awareness grows, wisdom bubbles to the surface, and separation starts to dissipate. Let’s reclaim the beauty of merging with ourselves.

“I will not die an unlived life.
I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid,
more accessible,
to loosen my heart,
until it becomes a wing,
a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom,
and that which came to me as blossom
goes on as fruit.”
